Host Families Celebrating the New Year in Okinawa

Hello, everyone!
On Sunday, January 4th, we held our 2nd Annual Host Family Appreciation Party in Okinawa to celebrate another successful year together.

A Year Made Possible by Our Host Families

Together, we took a moment to look back on 2025—a truly meaningful year in which more than 7,000 students joined our program. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our host families, who opened their homes and hearts to students and helped create unforgettable, life-long memories.

Good Food, Laughter, and Connection

The event brought together host families, their families and friends, and HelloWorld staff for a day filled with delicious food, laughter, and meaningful connection. We also celebrated our Super Host Families of the Year and enjoyed fun activities such as national flag games and bingo, creating many joyful moments and further strengthening our sense of community.

97% Satisfaction and a Stronger Community

At this party, 30 host families—90 people in total participated. We even had one new family who is excited to begin hosting with us.
The overall satisfaction rate reached an amazing 97%, an increase from the previous year. We are truly grateful for such a successful and joyful event.

We look forward to continuing to create opportunities like this and can’t wait for the next gathering. The strength of our community lies in the bonds we build together.
